How are you ringing in the New Year tonight?
Staying at home, away from the drunks. Unless we find a good fireworks show. I mean, really. We do good to make it to the 10 pm news.
What is one of your addictions?
Reading. I LOVE to read. Also, I can get hooked on Craigslist forums when I have access.
Changed my Vox to a holiday theme. Putting up the tree this weekend.
It's freakin' cold outside. For Texans, this means anything under 60 degrees. But at least it's not raining.
What are your superstitions?
I don't really have any superstitions, but I do have some quirks. Such as, if I hit my hand (or touch something cold), I have to do the same to the other hand to balance out the sensation. I put on earrings, shoes etc right to left. Little things like that.
November 18, this Saturday, is the big day! So make sure you're up on the very latest at People's TomKat wedding blog.

No amount of backstage dimple-flashing and trumped-up humility could ever quite wash away the strut. The kid thought it was in the bag.
Emmitt Smith, on the other hand, was exactly the kind of celebrity who can make this ridiculous show weirdly appealing. He wasn’t a clown, like Jerry Springer. He wasn’t an earnest failure, like Sara Evans. He had the rare combination of natural ability and a capacity and willingness to learn how to do something outside his comfort zone."

What's your dream career?
Independently wealthy, so I could run my own witchcraft shop. Not one of these pastel, generic-looking, Reiki & aura reading classes New Age ones, but something with some good stuff in it. Cauldrons, rare books, dark wood floors... you get the picture.
